About Me
He was born in Malatya in 1972. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. He received his medical education between 1990 and 1996 at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his general surgery specialty training between 1997 and 2003 at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
With a scholarship from the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectum Surgery, he conducted scientific studies in the Department of Colorectal Surgery under the supervision of Prof. Dr. James W. Fleshman Jr. at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Barnes Jewish Hospital, Department of General Surgery, from October to December 2011 for three months.
He Is A Member Of The European Society Of Coloproctology (ESCP) And Its Parent Organization, The European Surgical Association. In September 2015, He Successfully Passed The European Board Of Surgical Qualification (EBSQ) Colorectal Surgery Equivalency Exams Held In Dublin, Ireland, And Earned The Certificate Of Colorectal Surgery Specialist.
In 2013, He Received The Title Of “Associate Professor” As A Result Of The Exam Conducted By The Interuniversity Board.
In 2018, He Received The Title Of “Professor” At İnönü University, Department Of General Surgery.
He continued his work in the Proctology Unit between 2016-2022.
